Western & Southern Thanksgiving Day 10k is Shirtless!
In order to keep the registration cost of running and walking the Western & Southern Thanksgiving Day 10k inexpensive for families and friends, the 2020 race will not include a long sleeve shirt, and instead provide an optional purchase of a soft hoodie.
"We want to be sure that thousands of people are able to celebrate Thanksgiving Day together in Cincinnati," said race director, Julie Isphording. "This beautiful event is truly a day full of gratitude, courage and kindness—every step of the way."
The low registration fee—lowest in 5 years—will include running gloves, a goodie bag, finisher's certificate and post-race party. Participants can purchase a blue hoodie during the registration process for $21.24.
The 10k run and walk is one of the oldest races in the country—celebrating 111 years—and featured as one of the top "turkey trots" in the country by the Los Angeles Times and Men's Health Magazine. The race will benefit ten local charities including the Barrett Cancer Center at UC, Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, Cancer-Free Kids, Girls on the Run and many more.
